Graffiti Workshops for Schools & Youth Groups

Graffiti workshops for schools and youth groups

Hands-on graffiti and street art sessions for schools, youth clubs, holiday programmes, home education groups and community projects across London, led by working artists. Young people learn to use spray paint safely, design their own pieces and paint on a real wall.

We run sessions at legal walls around London or bring everything to your school, club or venue, and we can turn a series of workshops into a finished mural for your space.

How a session runs

A typical session starts with a short graffiti tour or introduction, moves into a hands-on spray paint workshop, and finishes with the group sketching mural ideas on paper. Standard sessions run for two hours, and we can run longer days for bigger projects.

Workshops that become a mural

For one youth club we ran a three-and-a-half-hour session where the group's sketches fed into a mural for their own space. For Blackheath Halls, participants across four workshops painted graffiti onto the set of the opera Carmen. We also delivered 25 painted shutters on Deptford High Street with Shapes Lewisham and Lewisham Council.

What's included

  • A working graffiti artist leading the session
  • Spray paint, caps, masks, gloves and hazmat suits for everyone
  • All painting surfaces and clean-up
  • Photos of the finished work
  • £5m public liability insurance

Indoor sessions

No outdoor space? We can run sessions indoors using low-odour water-based spray paint, which is quoted separately because the materials cost more.

Pricing

Groups of 15 to 20 start from £50 per person for a two-hour session at one of our London walls, and smaller groups are priced on our graffiti workshops page. On-site sessions, longer days, groups over 20 and mural projects are quoted separately. Tell us your group size, ages and dates and we'll put a plan together.
