About Paintbox Graffiti
Paintbox Graffiti is an independent, artist-run graffiti shop, workshop space and mural agency based in New Cross, South East London.
We specialise in premium spray paint, markers, inks, caps, nozzles, books, magazines and street art supplies for writers, muralists, illustrators, students and beginners. Alongside the shop, we create custom murals, hand-painted signage, shutters, shopfront artwork and visual projects for businesses, venues and private clients.
Paintbox is built around real graffiti and street art culture. We care about good paint, useful knowledge, strong design and keeping independent creative spaces alive in South East London.
Our Story
Founder Jesse Wilson started Paintbox in 2023 inside Rye Lanez Tattooing in Peckham. Three years on, in January 2026, we moved into a bigger shop at 389 New Cross Road, with room for more paint, workshops and a gallery wall for exhibitions and launches.
What We Do
We run a specialist graffiti supply shop, deliver artist-led workshops and tours, and produce custom mural work across London, including the 25 shutters on Deptford High Street. Whether you are picking up paint, learning can control for the first time, or commissioning a large wall, Paintbox brings the same focus on quality, originality and culture.

More Than a Shop
Paintbox is more than a place to buy supplies. It is a growing creative space built around graffiti, murals, print, workshops and independent culture. We've painted shopfronts for our neighbours, run free workshops for young people with creative studio Cockney Green, and host exhibitions and launches in the shop. We want Paintbox to feel useful to working artists, welcoming to beginners and relevant to the local creative community.
